Dog visit

On Friday afternoon, Mrs McIlroy brought in a special guest, her dog Bailey.  The Year One and Reception children got to meet Bailey and learn about how to care for a pet dog in their Science lesson.  The children learnt about the body parts of a dog, what a dog needs, how to handle a dog and even got to have a little stroke and take him for a walk!  Bailey enjoyed his time in school as much as the children did and was very tired afterwards!
