Welcome to Westfield Primary School
End of Summer Term message
And finally from me,
I want to thank you for another successful year. As parents and carers, you have all supported the school immensely, through lockdown especially. It has been a year like no other, but what I am most proud of today, is seeing the group of young ladies and gentlemen in Year 6, leave us with pride, ambition and personal growth. From us all, we wish them the very best for the future.
I also thank all of the staff and governors at Westfield as their dedication to the children is outstanding.
What will September bring? As a Covid enhanced support area with cases still rising, yet to reach the peak, no one can predict what local measures will look like in September. From the 24th August, please keep a close eye for notifications on the school spider app/website for updates on starting back in September.
I wish you a lovely summer and look forward to seeing you in September. Take Care.
Return to school updates will appear here from the 24th August.
Our vision, as a Westfield family, is to promote independence, individuality and an inquisitive mind.
At Westfield Primary School, our children are treated as individuals: embracing equality and celebrating uniqueness. We strive to provide a high quality education, enabling children to branch out, achieve their best and strengthen their emotional, social and physical well-being. Children will become curious learners, who can confidently communicate their thoughts and opinions in order to manage the challenges of everyday life.
‘Where the roots are deep, there is no need to fear the wind.’
We will build the foundation of our community through compassionate, healthy and meaningful relationships: where we all feel safe, protected and loved. Our goal is to empower all of our children to cultivate and apply their skills, knowledge and individual talents to enable them to take on the world. Our success will be measured by the growth we see in our children.
‘From seedlings to saplings, standing tall and proud.’
