Parent Teacher Association (PTA)

This is an informal group that arranges social and fund raising events for the school. All parents are automatically members when their child joins school.  Meetings are held in school when necessary.  Staff are invited to attend, participate or help at any of the events organised, but the idea behind the group is that events are parent led.  If you would like any more information about the PTA please contact the school office.


Westfield Primary School PTA is also a registered charity.

The object of the PTA is to advance the education of pupils in school by:

  • Developing effective relationships between staff, parents and others associated with the school
  • Engaging in activities or providing facilities or equipment which support the school and advance the education of the pupils.

PTA Garden Project 2020

The main focus for fundraising in 2020 is the school garden and pond.  The PTA would like to redvelop the pond area and set up an allotment.  Various events will be held thoughout the year to raise funds.
