Special Educational Needs and Disability (SEND)
Here at Westfield, we provide a nurturing, inclusive learning environment for all where we celebrate children's individuality, develop their inquisitive minds and support their independence.
For our pupils with Special Educational Needs, we aspire for them to develop into kind, respectful and responsible adults who can achieve whatever they want with our support.
In addition to our supportive and nurturing mainstream provision, we also have a trained ELSA and ELSA room (Emotional Literacy Support Assistant), two members of staff trainined in assessing and delivering THRIVE sessions and two speech and language resource bases (Cedar and Sycamore Class).
If you would like any further information on how we support our pupils with SEND, please contact us at school to discuss with any member of our team.
