Pathways Summer 1

We are reading Manfish this half term-this is another sem- biographical book that is about Jacques Cousteau-a scuba diver who become someone who fights to save the underwater world all around the globe. We are going to be learning relative clauses, as well as polishing all our writing techniques as we reach the end of Year 6.

What are we learning in Summer 1?

Our RE this half term will have a focus on Buddhism and will be lookig at what it means to live a good life.

In Computing we will be programming and identifying variables in games and how we can change them.

History will be learning about the Ancient Greeks and how they changed things for today.

In Music we are listening to songs during World War Two.

Our science is learning about light and what things can affect it.

For this half term, Y6 will have swimming on Tuesday, and Y5 and Y6 will have PE on a Thursday.

Spelling

Children will be taught spellings in school, with a focus on applying the rule that is being taught that week.
