Hello Maple Class!

Welcome back everyone. It is another exciting year here at Westfield, and you have all made a fantastic start.  Our topic is, 'Water, Water Everywhere', where we will be finding out all about different coastal regions of the UK. Our Art will link to this as we will be looking closely at the famous picture, 'The great wave off Kanagawa' by Hokusai. We will be painting and colour mixing. 

Our writing this week has consisted of using prepositions, finding rich and varied vocabularly, research on seal pups and organising paragraphs around a theme.  You have all risen to the challenge.

This is it for now, but keep an eye out for further updates of what our class have been getting up to.
