Hello Willow Class,

Next week is half term and so you will have a break from the daily tasks! Feel free to continue to use the online resources if you want to continue with your reading and online activities.  Also, you are welcome to still send me any photographs of activities that you get up to over half term - mrsmcilroy@westfieldprimaryschool.com

Here is your writing task for Friday.  I would like you to write a postcard to someone about your time so far, either within the last week, month or since lockdown.  Let them know how you are feeling, where you have been, what you have seen and any activities you have been up to.  This can include: walks in the woods, past a duck pond, through a field, observing butterflies, colourful flowers, painting, drawing, baking, etc.  You might also want to say what you are missing about the person you are writing to.  

I have included some templates of postcards to give you some ideas, including one to school if you wish to drop a postcard off on your daily walk, I am actually in school for the next two Fridays.
