Willow Class Home Learning - Friday 24/04/2020

Date: 24th Apr 2020 @ 8:03am

Good morning Willow Class,

It looks like it will be another sunny day today! Yesterday on our daily walk, my daughter (Amelia) found a snail and became very attached to it, naming him Mr Snail.  See if you can find any animals/creatures on your daily walk or in your garden, we also spotted some robins in our garden.

For your writing task today, we are finishing off with the Gruffalo story.  I want you to identify rhyming pairs in the story.  Can you spot the rhyming words, write down any pairs that you can find.

For next week and our writing tasks, we will be using the book 'Zog', continuing with books written by Julia Donaldson, which are also available on BBC iplayer.

To help with phonics - Starting next week, the Department of Education, in partnership with the English Hub, have produced a series of daily Letters and Sounds videos to support the delivery of phonics lessons at home. We hope you find them useful! Lessons start on Monday 27th of April, but you can subscribe today and find out more information by following the link:
