Hello Willow Class! 

I hope that you all enjoyed your Easter Holidays and are full of chocolate!

We are back to our daily blogs now and so I will be updating these with your writing tasks each day.  I have also attached your Week 3 Learning Grid and would love to see any photographs of your work/activities - mrsmcilroy@westfieldprimaryschool.com.

On your Learning Grid, I have included information about your English work for this week.  Julia Donaldson has made her stories available to watch for free on BBC iplayer, feel free to also read the book at home if you have it.  I will then link the daily writing task to this story/book – this week, we will focus on ‘The Gruffalo’.

Your writing task for today is:

Write a character description of the Gruffalo - think about the words that are used throughout the story to describe him - think about what he looks like and how he acts.
