Changes to restrictions Monday 17th May

Dear Parents and Carers,

The government this week confirmed the next steps on its roadmap to easing Covid restrictions. For primary schools, nearly all the existing safety measures remain in place for now. This means that children must stay in their bubbles and staggered start and finish times will also remain in place.

Although the infection rates have dropped considerably, I would still like us to remain cautious as there are still a large part of the population who have not yet been offered a vaccine.  Therefore I would appreciate it if you continued to socially distance/wear face coverings when you drop off and collect your children unless you are exempt from wearing one.

We will of course continue to remain safe in school and continue with all of the guidance given to us by the Department for Education.

We hope that the government might relax some of these measures before the end of the summer term, but we will have to wait and see.

Thank you for your continued support in keeping our school community safe.

Kindest regards,
