Citizens Advice Halton - GROW scheme

Citizens Advice Halton supports people who are looking to take their next steps to getting ready for employment, education, or training. We know that when children go back to school it’s a great time for parents to start focusing on their own next steps, including thinking about jobs, training or volunteering.

Attached is a flyer with information all about the employability support from Citizens Advice Halton, through the GROW team.

The GROW support can help you:

• Identify what the best next steps for you are;
• Support you to improve how you manage your money – so you can get ready financially to start looking for work;
• Help you with writing or updating your CV;
• Help you explore possible training that will help you get new skills, or update existing ones; and
• Help you explore other opportunities, like volunteering, that can provide a great way of getting job ready.

Through 1-2-1 support from a member of the team, to workshops and online learning, we have a variety of ways for people to get support.
