Local History Day Friday 28th May 2021

Local History Month

The month of May is Local History Month and we will be celebrating Runcorn’s local history on Friday 28th May, which is the last day of term. On this day, each class will be learning about an aspect of the history of Runcorn, with a particular focus on Norton Priory and how this site has changed over time.
Also on this day (Friday 28th May), we are inviting children to dress up in either the theme of a medieval person or a person from British history.

Ideas for medieval dressing up could include:
? knight
? king
? queen
? jester

Dressing up is optional and please recycle, create or re-use what you can, rather than spending money on a costume. Be as creative as you like when putting together your outfit. If you choose not to dress up, then come into school wearing your school uniform.
We thank you for your continued support at home and in school.
