Dear Westfield families,
After careful consideration, and also voted by the children, we have decided to return to children wearing their PE kits to school on the days they have PE. This will commence from Monday 14th March. We have chosen to do this to ensure the children are getting the most curriculum time possible.
Children are expected to wear PE kits according to the school’s uniform policy, just as they would with their normal uniform. This includes a white polo shirt and black shorts, skirt or jogging bottoms depending on the weather.
Children may also choose to wear a black sweatshirt in colder weather. Pumps can be brought into school and worn for indoor PE but we recommend children wearing trainers to school as they are more appropriate for break and lunch time.
