Hello Beech Class!

I really hope that you had a great bank holiday weekend! I had a lovely time celebrating VE day by completing 2 minutes silence and singing 'We'll Meet Again' along with my nieghbours whilst remaining socially distant. I hope that you celebrated with your family too and learnt something about the past- I know I did!

I have attached this week's learning grid and Bug Club, Purple Mash and Education City are still there for you to access also.

Writing

This week, I have decided to introduce to you one of my favourite ever children's books 'The Fantastic Mr Fox'. I will post chapters from the book this week along with a writing task. Today I would like you to read chapter 1 with an adult titled 'The Three Farmers'. I would like you to write a couple of sentences about eacah of the farmers. Try to add in some adjectives of your own about them rather than just the ones used in the book. Why not draw some pictures of them too!
