This half term, our focus book is ‘Nibbles the book monster and we will be learning the story alongside lots of other classic fairy tales and poems about monsters. We will also be learning about reading and making maps, creating moving objects in D&T and observing the change of seasons as we move from Autumn to Winter. In Science, Year 1 will continue to learn about habitats in the local area and what lives within them. As well as all of this, it is that time of year where we learn all about the nativity and look forward to celebrating Christmas, alongside other religious festivals!

Reading is key to every child's learning - sharing a book, reading a bedtime story to your child and listening to them read their Read Write Inc book helps in every aspect of school! Don't forget to sign their planners.
Forest School is on Mondays - children need to have arms and legs covered! Please bring old trainers or wellies to keep in school.
