Oak Class Home Learning 22.04.2020

Date: 22nd Apr 2020 @ 8:29am

Good morning Oak Class!

I hope that Tuesday was fabulous for you all. I didn’t realise how hot it was yesterday and the sun got the better of me whilst I was working in the garden. Please remember, if you’re out enjoying the sunshine, keep safe!

Yesterday, we released a video made by the staff of Westfield. If you haven't seen in yet, then check it out! It's on our school Facebook and the link is also on our School Spider app. We wanted you to know how much we miss you all.

Today is Wednesday and that means it’s diary day! Before the Easter break, I mentioned about keeping a weekly diary to reflect on our time off during the pandemic. Here were my instructions from our first diary entry and they remain the same today:

Every Wednesday, I would like you to write a diary entry about how your week has been. We are currently living through a moment in history that future generations might possibly learn about – how crazy is that! So, today’s task is to write about yourself, how you are feeling, what you have been up to and most importantly, what is keeping you happy whilst you’re not at school.

Just a reminder…

All other learning tasks can be found on the ‘weekly learning grid’ which is on the ‘School Spider’ app and on our school website. Here is the link that will send you to it!

Please do not worry about giving each piece of work an ‘I can’ statement.

Remember, I am available to contact via our school blog or through my email. If you wish to email me, please ask an adult to do so – mrsdavies@westfieldprimaryschool.com

I hope you all have a lovely day. One day closer to seeing you all again.
